Botfly
The botfly is the most infamous parasite found in tropical rainforests. The eggs of the botfly are carried by another insect, often a mosquito. The female botfly captures the mosquito and deposits a number of eggs on her. Then, when the mosquito approaches the host, the botfly eggs hatch and the larvae burrow into the human host where they develop. When ready to pupate, they drop out of the host and then complete the life cycle again. The botfly leaves the host unharmed but with a little opening about the size of a needle head witch enabled the botfly to breath while inside the host.
